Last Saturday was the most beautiful day we've had in 6 months! The snow was melting, it was warm, and there was a cool breeze. All morning I had procrastinated going running because I thought it might rain. Finally, around 2pm I ventured out. It was perfect. It made me realize how thankful I was to be outside, breathing fresh air. I had about 1 mile to go and it started to rain, no problem. Anything was better than the treadmill at that point! Rain turned to mini hail/frozen ice balls and they started pelting me in the face. It felt like I was being pecked to death by a duck! I only had 2 blocks left when I turned my back away from the stones for a minute and there was a truck behind me. It was BONES! He had been driving all over trying to save me! Hooray-I gladly accepted the ride. By the way-I was soaked-shoes, pants, everything!
