Happy 4th of July!!

We had so much fun at the Oakley Parade this year. Aunt Connie and fam were there, Melissa, Rich and Luke were there, too! Maddux had a blast waving at the princesses and seeing the horses. He didn't really get why people were throwing candy at him, but he loved picking it up and eating it. Bones was in charge of overseeing his candy intake-need I say more! Grandma Wilde watched the parade with us, and it was so much fun to be with her. Swayzee was a parade all her own with Grandma Becky showing her off to all of the relatives. Grandpa Gordy drove his team of mules, Martha and Mary, in the parade. It was so fun to see him doing what he loves! After a few hours of parading, we drive 1 1/2 hours back home for a family reunion. I love, LOVE the oakley parade! Where else can you sit on the road and eat candy at 9AM??

Happy fourth! I love parades and summer holidays. When I moved to Utah I thought it was so entertaining that every weekend is some kind of celebration from Strawberry days to the Freedom Festival. Last week I took the boys to the children's parade. Jack thought it was so great that he could be part of the parade and not just watch it.

I totally forgot I saw you last year at the Oakley parade? We didn't go this year, that would have been fun to see your new baby!
