Apparently a disgusting neighborhood cat (we've talked about this already, I know!) decided to bring a special surprise to my backyard. I guess they heard it was Swayzee's birthday? Maybe they found a better dinner?
Maddux came inside one morning telling me, "No mom, you can't touch the baby panda in MY sandbox. He is sweeping. No, no mom, you can't touch him." The baby panda was actually a dead mouse on the ground by the sandbox. I wanted to barf!
Maddux promised me he didn't touch it, but we scrubbed hands for the next 45 minutes anyway! Dad came home from work to save the day. I thought it had to be disposed of a certain way, so when he got the shovel I was a little surprised. I guess I could've done that myself! Oh well! Thanks for rescuing us daddy!!

I hate mice! Our cat has left 2 on our door in the last week. And Landan always has to get rid of it. I can't handle it
Eeek! I thought cats were suppose to keep the mice away!!! What would we do without our husbands to save the day!
Love the cute pictures. Swayzee looks like she is starting to fill out a little, how cute! Maddux is such a true blue boy, and a hansome one at that!!!
Stinkin cats!!!!!!!!
Seriously...I can't stop laughing...
this summer I had to dispose of a HUGE rat that the family I nanny for's cat had caught, it was disgusting, good thing I wasn't pregnant yet or I know I would have lost it!
Eww...I hate mice. Nasty. Little Miss Swayzee is so cute--I love all of her hair. And Maddux seems to be quite the animal lover lately. Fun for you! :)
Swayzee is so big! Can't believe it. I miss you this year !
