Weekend staycation

Nothing beats the Summit County Fair!! Swayzee and I headed to Coalville with Melis and her kiddos. Aunt Mary and Uncle Jerry were in town, so they stayed in Coalville, too! What a party! Here is my dad pulling the past Summit Co. Queens in the wagon. You would not believe how much work he had to go to for this 30 seconds. It took hours to catch the animals, get the wagon, clean them both, harness Martha and Mary (the mules!), arrive early for parking, and then undo it all afterwards. Go dad! You looked great!
The rodeo was super-I'm quite a fan anyway. Maddux and Bones were at home bonding. A few hours away from my baby boy were FABULOUS!! I really did miss them both, though. Melis is the best sister, ever! She stayed at my mom and dad's with her two kids and Swayzee-You win favorite sister award!

Saturday morning was the parade. The first one EVER that required jackets-in August? It was perfect! Here are Melis and Luke ready for candy.

Dad driving another wagon, doing another kind deed. This time for Henefer City.

My fun dad, who is a complete ham in front of the camera. Yes, he is wearing a wool vest AND a long sleeved shirt It was CHILLY!
After the festivities, we all headed to Salt Lake for a yummy dinner to celebrate Bones's birthday!! Happy Birthday Bonesy
Thanks mom and dad for putting up with our craziness!

Thats cool that your dad pulled that huge wagon! Henefer-haven't heard the name of that town for a while! I think I spelled it wrong! Sorry! :) I am jealous that you get to stay at home! Have fun!
