Birthday Boy

Happy Birthday to my little Maddux! He is 3 today! He is such an energetic, playful, and smart little man. On Saturday, we had a party with my family. We ate lunch and "pupcakes". It was so perfectly perfect...until Luke and Maddux poured Modge-Podge all over my carpet...same carpet that they so wonderfully "painted" a few weeks before. Good times.

Thanks to my mom who scrubbed it out while I was feeding my screaming baby. Hooray for Family, I would be lost without them!

Also, Maddux made a NEW DISCOVERY today...that Grandpa Gordy is bald. After my dad took his hat off, Maddux offered to put gel in his hair. It was quite the shocker when he saw no hair to gel. Thanks dad for helping Maddux see what decades of hat-wearing will get him!! All of Maddux's favorite men wear hats, so his copying will surely continue.

Good Morning Birthday Boy! I had my heart set on making a yummy breakfast with french toast, eggs, hot chocolate, the MOTHER LOAD! Maddux, wanted OATMEAL instead. Seriously?!

For my family members, you MUST see THIS! I was in the kitchen and Carla was in the Thomas tent. I was obviously confused as to what she was doing in that tiny tent. She thought Maddux was close by and was going to play in it with him. BUT, he was downstairs and almost missed the whole thing! Thanks Carla for a good laugh!
