Christmas Eve was spent with Bones's family. Grandma had the entire party planned down to the minute, featuring the ever-popular Christmas Pinata (or "pin-a-lotta") as Maddux says.
We spent the rest of the night watching movies.
We slept until 7AM on Christmas morning, which was awfully thoughtful of both kids because that NEVER happens! I told Bones that was OUR present this year.
Maddux JUMPED out of bed when we told him that Santa had come. So funny!
Santa brought him a big dump truck, just like he'd requested, and a tool bench with tons of tools.
We headed to Coalville on Christmas Day for a yummy dinner and tons more presents. Melis and I played a mean game of "Dance Dance Revolution". Who knew dancing could be so fabulous??
He loves the scooter that he got from them, and all of the other tons of presents. Who needs moms and dads when there are Grandpa's and Grandma's?!
OH, his FAVORITE toy of all!! (no sarcasm, even)
His very own FLASHLIGHT!! Just like Curious George.
Merry Christmas to all our friends and family. May this year being peace and joy!
