Watermelon

Gold stars to all of you women out there! Today I realized how amazing women really are. I bought a watermelon last Tuesday and I was so excited to share it with Maddux (Bones will NOT eat it, shocker!) However, It is now 1 week and 1 day later and I just had time to cut it. It's been sitting on my counter just waiting for me! I decided we could eat some for lunch, so I cut it in half. It sat that way for 30 minutes or so until Swayzee was done eating. I cut a slice- picked up Swayzee, fed Maddux, made a phone call. 20 minutes later I cut that same slice into pieces. I cut another slice, and the DRAMA continued. Needless to say I was only able to cut HALF of the watermelon in 1 HOUR. WHAT? How is that possible. I could've planted and harvested a watermelon in that time. It's amazing that women are able to get anything done!
